When we talk about the importance of versatility in this breed to be both a correct representation of the Akita standard paired with the mind and work ethic to accomplish things across various performance fields - we think of Finn. Finn was bred by Wild Hunt Akitas in New Mexico out of CH Moonlight's Manhattan Straight Up RATM CZ8B SWN SBA SCA RL1 TKA CGC CGCA CGCU ATT VAX by our Shade's sire GCH Shinto's Whiskey River and Wild Women. Finn is an absolute delight of a dog. Not only did he finish his grand championship with multiple OH BIS & OH RBIS wins 100% owner handled, but following in his mother's sporty footsteps, he has earned many accolades on the performance field as well. Finn never meets a stranger and is always eager to set the record straight about the breed's temperament. We are absolutely delighted and grateful for the opportunity to co own this wonderful boy and incorporate him into the Morrow program. Finn sired our spring 2022 litter which produced Samara who we just couldn't let go of and her sister Maeve who we sent back to Wild Hunt where she is already showing so much promise in performance venues alongside her grandmother. Being a part of this journey with Finn and our dear friends these last few years has been such a blessing. Finn is scheduled to begin a career in junior handling with our human daughter, Liana, this coming year and we can only hope that he and Liana make the incredible team that he and Tori do. We are confident that there is no better dog to help Liana fall in love with the world of preservation dog sports and the AKC than Finn.
